Ryan Mill
Currently Creative Services Director for WBZZ and WZPT, he worked part time weekends and overnight between 1988 and 1991. When he got there in 1998 he was still in high school, and he reports it was still "Hot Hits Z107". After Dennis Elliott got there (1990 by his guess) Ryan did Sunday afternoons on Z107, and news/weather and board operating for the Polka show on WHJB. After automation took over, his voice did overnights.
He left in 1992, during his second year at Pitt. He interned at B94 for two years, then moved on to nights at 106.7 during its incarnation as "The Force". He noted as I did the irony that both 106.7 and 107.1 are now WAMO. He was hired for middays at B94 in November 1995, before becoming first production director (while keeping his midday duties) in February 1996, and then Creative Services Director in late 1997. He's been working that position exclusively since about May of 1999.
