Ed Weigle

Ed got his start in radio in 1982, in Blairsville. He had previously done voice work for a local videographer in 1980, when he was just 13! His career in Pittsburgh raio lasted 13 years, and took him through several stations, including WHJB and Z107. In 1993 he left his job at WRRK (but continued as their image voice through 1995) after promises of a production director job failed to materialize when the station was again sold. He moved on to Chicago, where he took a job at country station WCCQ-FM as their production director and afternoon drive host. He also moved into voicing and producing national TV and radio spots, something which soon brought him back to Pittsburgh. He worked for a now-defunct processing company before again leaving for Indianapolis and a job with Tour Design, Inc, again doing creative work involving voicing, producing and engineering spots. Belt-tightening forced him out in 1996 and he started his own company.

He moved around in Indiana and Kentucky before settling again in Indianapolis in 2000 when his wife's career oppotunities brought them back to the city. He's now Operations Manager and Production Director at WEDJ-FM/WSYW-AM Indianapolis, as well as the owner of WeigleVOX Productions International.
